Rochester community concerns have been first and foremost for New York State Senator Joe Robach. Joe Robach has been fighting for Rochester throughout his career when voting on legislation and determining public policy at our State Capitol in Albany. Senator Joe Robach is uniquely qualified to serve our community due in large part to his involvement in community life here in Rochester and Monroe County. Senator Joe Robach has been a Board Member with the Northwest YMCA, the Norman Howard School and a member of the Board of Advisors at Jewish Family Services. In addition, Joe Robach is an honorary member of Rochester Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial Board of Directors, a member of the Brighton and Greece Chambers of Commerce, the Charlotte Community Association and Westridge and Holmes Road School PTA’s. Senator Joe Robach’s presence in the Rochester community is bolstered by his continued support of local groups and organizations. In the past, Senator Joe Robach has proudly supported The Boys and Girls Club of Rochester, Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Rochester, Bivona Child Advocacy, the Arts & Cultural Council, Breast Cancer Coalition, Camp Good Days and Special Times, Coalition to Prevent Lead Poisoning, Girl Scouts of Genesee Valley, Lifespan, MADD, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Quad A, Crimestoppers, Ronald McDonald House, South East Area Coalition, SWAN and the Urban League of Rochester. In addition to supporting local groups, Senator Joe Robach believes citizens should feel safe in the Rochester community, which is why he has supported expanding the DNA database to keep criminals off the streets, eliminating a statute of limitations for rape, ensuring rapists pay for their crimes, increasing the penalties who drunk drivers who severely injure or kill innocent victims, keeping the commitment to keeping violent sex offenders out of our communities and passing “Jessica’s Law,” which imposes tougher penalties on those who commit sexual crimes against children. Because of all these things, Senator Joe Robach has proven himself to be a tireless advocate for our community and public servant who truly understands what our community needs.
