In addition to appearing on air Saturday mornings, Joe Robach partners with WDKX to co-host events. During the past five summers, Joe Robach has teamed up with WDKX to host a Women’s Health Fair at the Greece Ridge Center Mall. At the Health Fair, vendors from across the Rochester come to show the women of the Rochester community various ways to promote a healthy lifestyle. From donating blood, to Rochester Hearing and Speech Center, to Cancer Services of Monroe County the health fair shows that there are many options for Rochester’s women.

Also, around the Christmas holidays, to help those in need in the Rochester community, WDKX, Joe Robach and other community groups hold a “Coats for Kids” drive. In the past years, County Executive Maggie Brooks have welcomed WDKX to the foyer of the County Office Building so that the Rochester community has a safe place to receive coats as well as meeting Santa Clause! To make sure there are enough coats, Joe Robach has a collection at his office where the community can drop off winter clothing for the event.

Throughout its existence, WDKX has been a leader in the Rochester community providing a voice of the people of the City of Rochester.
