Rochester Senator Joe Robach is sending his best wishes and a happy Thanksgiving to the residents of the City of Rochester and Monroe County this week. Through Senator Robach’s government website, New York State residents can enter a contest stating or showing what they are most thankful for this holiday season. Submission can be in essay, poem or work of art form. All submission must be submitted online by November 29, 2012.
Also, as the weather turns more and more wintery, Rochester Senator Joe Robach wants to remind the residents of the community of the 2012 Coats for Kids Winter Clothes Drive. Senator Joe Robach and the Greece Ecumenical Closet are proud to once again sponsor “From One Closet to Another”, a Coats for Kids Winter Clothes Drive taking place until Friday, December 14th. Gently worn articles are being accepted, and all clothing will be donated to the Greece Ecumenical Clothes Closet. Clothes can be dropped off at Senator Robach’s Greece office located at 2300 West Ridge Road, Rochester New York 14626 from nine to five Mondays through Friday or at the Greece Ecumenical Clothes Closet located at 500 Maiden Lane, Rochester New York 14606 Monday through Saturday from nine to eleven AM.
