The warm summer months mark the beginning of festival season in Monroe County. The 115th annual Lilac Festival kicked off the series of events in the Rochester area and will be followed by many others such as The Jazz Festival, Park Avenue Arts Festival and The Rochester Big Rib BBQ and Blues Fest. What better way to embrace Rochester’s rich traditions and beautiful summer weather than these exciting events.
If one prefers a more relaxed way to enjoy Rochester’s summer nature, do not hesitate to explore some of the communities scenic parks. From the shores of Charlotte Beach in Ontario Beach Park to the lush trails of Brighton Town Park, our area offers a truly unique part of nature. Our parks provide a safe place to explore and play by yourself or with loved ones while embracing Upstate’s breathtaking wilderness.
