This week, Rochester Senator Joe Robach welcomed New York State Senate Majority Leader John Flanagan to Rochester and Monroe County. The visit was organized so that Majority Leader Flanagan would better understand the important issues facing Rochester and Monroe County. This was the latest stop as the new leader tours New York State visiting members in their district.
While in Rochester, Joe Robach and Majority Leader Flanagan met with various labor leaders, business leaders, leaders in education, employers and various elected officials. These meetings helped the Majority Leader to better understand the unique community that makes up Rochester and its needs and strengths. These meetings included the building trades, the superintendents of Monroe County school district, including the leaders of Hilton, Greece, Gates Chili and Spencerport, the University of Rochester and Mayor Lovely Warren.
All in all, the visit of Majority Leader John Flanagan what truly makes the Rochester and Monroe County region a great place to live work and get an education. Rochester Senator Joe Robach looks forward to continuing to partner with him to make upstate New York stronger.
